Highland Village was recently named Best Place to Highland Village was recently named Best Place to Explore Nature in Denton County in DFWChild’s Best for Families 2026 awards, and that probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone who spends time here.

Between the lake views, huge trees, miles of trails, large parks, updated playgrounds, and all the little spots to get outside and enjoy the day, nature is just part of life in Highland Village.

It’s one of the things residents love most about living here … and one of the reasons so many people choose to call it home.

What’s your favorite part about Highland Village?
I spent the morning attending the Flower Mound Rea I spent the morning attending the Flower Mound Real Estate Professionals Training Program. 🎓

It was a great opportunity to learn more about how Flower Mound works behind the scenes, from zoning and planning to engineering, inspections, and future development. A lot of these topics don’t come up in day-to-day conversations, but they absolutely impact the community and the people who live here.

I’ve lived in Flower Mound for more than twenty years, so it was interesting to get a deeper look at the decisions, processes, and people that help shape the town. I left with a much broader understanding of the community and a lot of information that will help me better answer questions, provide context for clients, friends, and neighbors, and just make me a better Flower Mound Realtor.

I recently toured this David Weekley model home in Furst Ranch, and it has the wow factor from top to bottom. From the finishes to the lighting to the way every space flows together, this one is pure eye candy.

If you’ve been curious about Furst Ranch, David Weekley homes start in the high $600s, and there are a few spec homes available for move-in this month.

In the meantime, enjoy the tour. And if you want floor plans, pricing, or details on what’s available, send me a message.
I stand by this: Old Town Lewisville is one of DFW I stand by this: Old Town Lewisville is one of DFW’s best kept secrets.

When people think of Lewisville, they picture a great location and convenience. What they don’t always realize is that there’s an entire downtown district filled with local restaurants, a coffee shop, boutiques, events, live music, murals, and plenty of small town charm.

Old Town Lewisville is the kind of place that’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there, but once you discover it, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again.

Have you explored Old Town Lewisville yet? What’s your favorite part?

It was so neat to dig into the story behind this development and to walk through the plan for all that it’s going to be. And it’s really going to be something!

I can’t wait to share the segment with you when it airs in July but in the meantime, I’d love to answer any questions you have about this incredible development and the building that’s already started!
