There’s a lot more to Lewisville than meets the eye. It’s a little quirky, a little underrated, and full of those local things you don’t really appreciate until you’ve lived here for a while.

From Old Town to the lake, established neighborhoods to newer pockets, Lewisville has a personality all its own. It’s convenient, close to just about everything, and has a few hidden gems that locals are more than happy to claim as their own.

And that’s part of what makes it so fun to call home.

I had the best day filming my next ADTV segment in Lakeside, one of my absolute favorite spots in Flower Mound. There’s just something about this place. Walkable streets, gorgeous lake views, great food, and so much activity.

Getting to sit down with Laura Black at CLINK Wine Bar + Bites was a highlight. Beyond the amazing drinks and bites (and they are amazing!) Laura has this genuine desire to help others rise up that just drew me in. She’s the best kind of business owner.

It’s the little things. There are so many parts

It’s the little things.

There are so many parts of real estate that are structured and procedural: contracts, deadlines, negotiations, inspections. Those things matter, and I love helping my clients navigate them well.

But it’s the personal side of this job that I love the most.

Getting to know my clients - their sense of humor, what makes them laugh, what keeps them up at night, and what’s truly important to them. Celebrating the exciting moments and walking alongside them through the hard ones. Dropping off a porch surprise just because.

It’s such an honor to be trusted with one of life’s biggest decisions. And if I can make the process feel a little more personal along the way, that’s my favorite part of what I do.

Summer in DFW is an experience. 🥵

We don’t hit 100 degrees every day, but when we do, we somehow act like it’s the first time. Every year.

You’ll learn to park in the shade (even if it means walking farther), think twice before grabbing the steering wheel, and realize that your backyard pool feels more like bathwater than a refreshing escape.

Do you ever really get used to it? Not completely. 😂 But somewhere along the way, you just accept that it’s part of living here.

And honestly? The great neighborhoods, amazing restaurants, beautiful parks, and the people who make DFW such a great place to live make those hot summer days worth it.

I can’t believe we’re already flipping the calendar to August. 😳

This month always feels like the bridge between summer and fall: busy, exciting, and full of fresh starts. Whether you’re sending kids back to school, getting back into a work routine, or just looking forward to a little more structure, I hope it’s a great month.
